Did you know that your vagina shares the same pH with beer?
The average vagina has the pH of around 4.5 which is as about the same acidity as beer.
You can thank vagina residents and working security guards, lactobacillus, a lactic acid-producing bacteria that keeps a beer-equivalent acidic level. The acid levels keeps away other harmful bacteria from starting their own colony in there. (I guess they call it the Pink Fortress for a reason….)
Basically, the lactobacillus make sure they come across as rowdy frat boys that no one wants to move next door to.
