Bikers Against Child Abuse is an organization of lifelong bikers who serve as support and allies for survivors of child abuse. They have grown internationally and work with local authorities. When a connection is made BACA rides to the child’s home, provides them with a vest and make a connection. Survivors are then given 2 contacts from the organization that they can contact for support when they need it. They also provide a presence to, hopefully, scare off any abuser who is considering coming back, and accompany children to court to provide them the strength to face their abuser in open court and provide the testimony needed.
This video shows a survivor talking about how BACA helped her face her abuser in court and provide her testimony without fear and showed her that her life was worth living.
This amazing organization and all the men and women involved have helped give so many children their confidence and lives back. How’s that for breaking stereotypes?
