Quarrels are common in relationships. This is not surprising since people with different temperaments and upbringing have to live together and share in half the joys and sorrows. This is normal but everyone probably dreams that the number of conflicts decreases. To do this, you need to figure out why couples quarrel, how to solve such problems, and what to do in certain situations.
1. Uncertainty in own attractiveness or some other qualities
It doesn’t matter whether you are dating a Ukrainian girl (and as you know they are the most beautiful in the world) or a woman of any other nationality, she may suffer from a sense of her own imperfection. Many women constantly demand proof of their worth from their partners. This can happen for various reasons. Women often feel that they are not beautiful, not smart, or not strong enough, and look for men in the hope that they will change them.
2. Finance
One partner may be wasteful, the other may prefer to save money or invest it to increase capital. Also, you may have different requirements for each other regarding the amount that you are willing to spend each month on groceries, leisure activities, clothing, and other categories of expenses. So, it is better to sit down and discuss all financial issues.
3. Disagreements about children
Sometimes one of the partners doesn’t want to have it, while for the other, the appearance of a baby becomes a priority. In other situations, it is about time. Women are usually in a hurry to have children, while men prefer to wait. The problem of having a child can ruin the atmosphere in a relationship and often becomes a real problem for a man.
4. Quarrels over friends
Sometimes these people are identified as a threat to a relationship, and, therefore, we are so skeptical about the close acquaintances of a loved one. This is especially true of friends of the opposite sex. If friends are more important than the person we are in a relationship with, scandals are inevitable.
5. Dissatisfaction with yourself and lack of personal realization
This is a common and sad reason for many quarrels. When people are dissatisfied with themselves, they often dump their aggression on the closest person. Of course, deep down, we understand that loved ones are not to blame. But unfortunately, sometimes we can do nothing with our emotions.
6. Difference in expressing love
Someone loves pleasant words, someone appreciates the time spent with a loved one, someone perceives care as a true manifestation of love, and someone needs more kisses and hugs. If you and your girlfriend don’t feel loved in a relationship, it’s time to talk about what you think it means to “express love.”
7. Experience of past unsuccessful relationships
Past experiences often affect current relationships. For example, an ex-partner hurt you. And you are sure that this new one will offend you too. There is no connection between the past and the present. So, partners may wonder why you blame them or why you don’t trust them.
