“Watching my son touch the 11 people in that Waffle House tonight will be forever one of the greatest accomplishments as a parent I’ll ever get to witness.”
Five-year-old Josiah Duncan was with his mother outside of a Waffle House in Prattville, Alabama recently, when he noticed a homeless man standing outside. He then began asking his mother why the man looked a certain way and what it meant to be homeless. Josiah became upset when he realized that the man may be hungry and pleaded his mother to buy the man a meal. Josiah’s mother listened to her son and invited the man inside for a burger.
After the man sat down for his meal, Josiah noticed he was being ignored by staff and offered to get him a menu. However, it was what he did next that left the man and 11 patrons in tears. Grab the tissues and watch the video above for the full story.
