Harvard Grad, Kiran Gandhi, has been training for the 26.2 mile London Marathon for a year. A revolutionary new menstrual product has entered the market. Sisters Radha and Miki Agrawal, and friend Antonia Dunbar, created a pair of self absorbing underwear that eliminates the need for pads or tampons, called THINX. Each pair can hold “up to 2 to 6 teaspoons of blood”, which is the equivalent of a tampon. The 3 styles offered range in price from $24 to $34.

Okay, this is not something I’m completely proud to admit, but a tampon commercial totally made me tear up. (It’s a timely viewing, as I am quite hormonal at the moment.)
I’m not the only one, though. One of my friends even posted that she watched this with her two sons.
Clever marketing by Always? Perhaps. But I’d rather see this than those terrible U by Kotex commercials.
