Sex Ed videos have a long-standing history of being cheesy and more of a joke than educational. Last Week Tonight host John Oliver enlists his celebrity friends to create the most honest and humorous sex ed video yet. Celebs like Laverne Cox and married couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally creat a video that makes sure not to be ambiguous or misleading about how sex actually works in today’s society, including the often overlooked topic of consent.
“Your Health Today” is an educational book which was a sex-ed publication given to 9th graders in Fremont, California, and voted in as part of their curriculum by the school board.
But parents are saying it’s too sexy. (Watch out 50 Shades of Grey…it looks like you have some competition.)
Some of the complaints:

It explains masturbation, foreplay, and erotic touch.
