Joey Salads does it again with his newest video in support of public breastfeeding
A few days ago we posted the Joey Salads video where he had a woman pretend to breastfeed in public, to see what the reactions would be. Joey has taken it a step further this time. A model in a low cut shirt sits right next to a breastfeeding mom. The people who stop to comment on the mom’s “indecency” are not expecting the confrontations that follow.

Youtube star takes on breastfeeding in public and then issues an apology to men
Because no one knew how this would turn out; Joey Salads, best known for his “social experiment” and prank videos on Youtube, tackled public breastfeeding reactions in his newest video. Perhaps the results surprised him, but for most moms who’ve nursed in public it’s exactly what we expected. It just serves as another example of what nursing moms have to endure in public; the attempts to shame women for feeding their children.

Canadian mom stirs up controversy by nursing in her son’s Santa photo

Regional health unit offers breastfeeding toolkit to local businesses
A health unit in the Grey Bruce Region of Ontario, Canada has put together a Breastfeeding Friendly business toolkit. This kit is designed to help businesses and organizations with strategies and resources to support their customers as well as their employees. This is great timing as just this summer a local restaurant asked a nursing mom, who was waiting on a friend, to leave their premises, in direct defiance of Ontario’s Human Rights Code.

A woman switching planes at Dulles airport, in Washington D.C., was directed to a pet-relief area to pump, by a United Airlines employee.
Liz Meagher Cooper just wanted to pump milk for her 4-month-old-baby. She disembarked her plane and immediately asked, at the counter, where she could pump. She was first directed to the bathroom. Walmart refuses to print breastfeeding photos and it’s becoming a disturbing trend
Whitney Walters wanted to put together a scrapbook of her 6-year-old daughter. She sent her pictures off to Walmart, but when she arrived to pick them up they told her multiple photos of hers were indecent and would not be printed. The indecent act? Breastfeeding her daughter. Aside from that vague comment they would not explain, specifically, why they could not print them. Public Relations for Walmart has not issued a statement.
