When Season Wilwert’s eight-year-old-son, Ethan, said he wanted to become a professional makeup artist she immediately took him for a lesson with MAC cosmetics make-up artist Joey Killmeyer.

Eleven-year-old girl assists mom in her baby sister’s surprise delivery
Eleven-year-old Catilin Burke found herself acting as midwife for her baby sister’s birth, earlier this month. Her mother’s labor started as she was getting ready for school. Caitlin called an ambulance for her mom, Tara Knightley, but her little sister was in a hurry to meet her.

Young girl spends her eighth birthday tying winter coats to telephone poles to help the homeless
It is no secret that Canada gets cold in the winter, and for the homeless population this becomes very problematic. Eight-year-old Jada, wanted to do something about it.

‘Food for Fines’ program allows people to pay parking tickets with canned goods
Lexington, Kentucky has come up with a genius way to fill local food banks. From November 16 – December 18, if you receive a parking ticket you can pay it off with canned goods.
The “Food for Fines” program has been hugely successful in the past. Last year, over 6,200 cans of food were accepted as payment for 600 meter citations. This year they have expanded the program to all parking violations in hopes of increasing that amount.

Oklahoma school uncovers blackboard lessons from 1917 during renovations
When Oklahoma contractors started work on Emerson High School they never expected to stumble across this. As they removed chalkboards, to make way for new whiteboards, they found doodles and lesson plans from 1917, as if frozen in time.
On one board was a wheel used to teach multiplication, a technique that Emerson High Principal, Sherry Kishore, says she has never seen in her life.

This kit is designed to help businesses and organizations with strategies and resources to support their customers as well as their employees.
