US Army issues a much needed breastfeeding policy update
Good news for moms serving in the US Army. There will be no more pumping milk in the bathroom! On November 10, 2015 they released an update for their new policy regarding breastfeeding soldiers.

BBC releases findings from their investigation into radio personality’s anti-breastfeeding rant
In August, BBC radio personality, Alex Dyke, took on breastfeeding as a topic for his show, and it didn’t end well. It started because a mother nursed her hungry baby, next to him, on a bus. A health unit in the Grey Bruce Region of Ontario, Canada has put together a Breastfeeding Friendly business toolkit. This kit is designed to help businesses and organizations with strategies and resources to support their customers as well as their employees. This is great timing as just this summer a local restaurant asked a nursing mom, who was waiting on a friend, to leave their premises, in direct defiance of Ontario’s Human Rights Code.

A woman switching planes at Dulles airport, in Washington D.C., was directed to a pet-relief area to pump, by a United Airlines employee.
Liz Meagher Cooper just wanted to pump milk for her 4-month-old-baby. She disembarked her plane and immediately asked, at the counter, where she could pump. She was first directed to the bathroom. Walmart refuses to print breastfeeding photos and it’s becoming a disturbing trend
Whitney Walters wanted to put together a scrapbook of her 6-year-old daughter. She sent her pictures off to Walmart, but when she arrived to pick them up they told her multiple photos of hers were indecent and would not be printed. The indecent act? Breastfeeding her daughter. Aside from that vague comment they would not explain, specifically, why they could not print them. Public Relations for Walmart has not issued a statement.
