Sunday Recap:
I am not sure how or why our Raise It Up meetings have been set for Sunday mornings at 8AM, but it is decidedly not fun to wake up that early on a weekend. However, I can’t complain too much, because once I am up it feels nice to have the entire day to enjoy.
I guess it all depends if you are a morning person…
I think I’m slowly turning into a morning person…except for this morning. Brian and I were out late watching Don Rader and some other talented jazz musicians, so there was no way I was going to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed when my alarm went off at the crack of dawn.
I think it was Greek poet Homer (Odyssey and Iliad) who first made the reference that sleep is the brother of death. It is a reference I always think of when I’m pulling myself out of bed at ungodly hours.
Anyway, enough about that. Let’s continue on to the most interesting articles on the internet:
Many of you watched Kayla and Omar Dar of Baby’s Breastie welcome in their fourth child live on UStream! Check out their special message and update of how mom and baby are doing!
This employee of Dairy Queen restores faith in humanity for many with this simple act of kindness.
