Server’s Note about Elderly Couple Reminds Us That There Are Great People in This World

Written by:  Jamie

Kristen Kinzle was having breakfast with some friends and noticed an elderly couple sitting near her party. She thought her group was being a little noisy and was concerned she had ruined the couple’s breakfast. She decided to pay for the couple’s bill, not realizing the deeper meaning it would have to those around her.

Stephanie Miller was a server at the restaurant that morning, and watched as Kinzle’s good deed changed their day.

The older man had recently lost his brother, and it was the one year anniversary of the death of one of Miller’s close friends, so she was quick to remember how even the smallest act of kindness could provide comfort to those who are grieving.

Miller decided to write Kinzle a quick note letting her know her small gesture made a big impact.
