A Quick Guide to Making a Shirt Stand Out in a Crowd–for the Right Reasons

Written by:  Jamie

Today, with more people than ever before dressing fashionably, it can be challenging to stick out in a crowd—for the right reasons, that is. However, the task isn’t impossible, and as those who’ve pulled it off can attest to, there are some easy and effective steps anyone can take to make their shirts attract as many positive comments and interested glances as possible.

Let’s take a quick look at these steps.

Coordinate

Anyone who wishes to have their shirt stand out in a crowd should coordinate their outfit from top to bottom. If they “clash” or are stylistically incompatible, a flashy pair of pants or shorts and/or an awesome hairdo will actually take away from a one-of-a-kind shirt. As a general rule, polar opposite colors (like red and green) and overly similar colors (like brown and blue) do not work well together.

Hair, shirts, bottoms, and accessories don’t need to be meticulously mapped out weeks before they’re worn—after all, that’d be inconvenient and unrealistic—but assuring that an outfit’s colors mesh well together is advisable.

Stay Clean

The coolest and most groundbreaking shirt in the world can be negatively impacted by unclean clothing, hair, and/or general characteristics. Be sure to shower and wash clothes regularly. Also, before leaving the house, take a minute or so in front of the mirror to make sure that everything “looks right.” Adhering to this recommendation is a fantastic way to help an excellent shirt stand out in a crowd.

There’s something enticing and attention-grabbing about a clean-looking shirt and overall appearance.

Wear a Custom Print Shirt

Bluntly stated, custom print shirts are the future of fashion. For an incredibly low cost, highly reputable printing companies (like On the Go Sports, to name just one) can provide shirts made by customers, for customers. In a matter of days, an entirely unique creation—including those that are simple and those that are complex, depending on what works best for the buyer—can be brought to life and showed off to the world.

And it’s hard to describe that as anything other than great.

This is far and away the best method of helping a shirt to stand out in a crowd; a custom design will not only draw the aforementioned comments and glances, but it may well lead to complete strangers approaching and asking in awe, “Where’d you get that shirt?”

As was said, it’s difficult to make a shirt stand out in a crowd today, given the numerous fashion-savvy individuals who take the time to dress impeccably. But by adhering to the above steps, anyone in the world can attract positive attention and comments in even the most heavily crowded areas.

Thanks for reading, and here’s to the perks and excitement of custom-made t-shirts!
