Between 2009 and 2012 Russian photographer, Jana Romanova, completed a photo-series featuring 40 pregnant Russian couples sleeping, one representing each week of pregnancy. She wanted to capture the most natural, vulnerable moment of the day for expectant parents. She started the project because her friends were all having babies and she was feeling left out, but not ready to have one on her own. Jana wants to fund a photo book for the series and recently hit her fund-raising goal.
