Parents accuse PayPal’s new Christmas commercial of exposing the “Santa Secret” to their children

Written by:  Jamie

Halloween is just barely over, decorations aren’t even down yet, and PayPal has already ruined the entire Christmas season for kids in the UK, by stating that Santa isn’t real; or so some parents feel.

The commercial, which aired during X-Factor this week, shows two brothers worried that Christmas is being canceled because mom and dad haven’t been out shopping. At the end a title card refers to mom and dad doing their shopping online and parents are worried that any child who can read will reach the conclusion that their parents buy everything and therefore Santa doesn’t exist.

Twitter has erupted with comments from upset parents. Here’s a little sampling for your reading pleasure.
