“I don’t like it when things I like become popular.“
That’s weird, right? I guess that is why it is my confession.
Hear me out.
Example 1: I liked Ugg boots way before they became popular.
I don’t have a problem with other people liking the same things as me.
My issue that is once it becomes popular it will have its moment and eventually become unfashionable.
Uggs held true to that. They had their fleeting trendy moment and … Keep Reading!!!

1. Tell us about your personal breastfeeding experience with your children:
I always knew I was going to breastfeed my children, but when I was pregnant with my first child I realized that I really felt rather gross about it. I don’t think I had any weird body issues or anything, the thought of it just made me feel very odd – I didn’t like the thought of how it would feel
During the past year, I have been slightly obsessed with reading any helpful adoption material. Every time I go to Barnes and Noble I’ll come home with another book that doctors or adult adoptees have written specifically for adoptive parents.
The consensus is always the same. Even if you love your adoptive family more than words can express, every human wants to know from where they came.
One of my best friends in college was an adoptee. He had no … Keep Reading!!!

1. Tell us about your personal breastfeeding experience with your children:
Wow, my experience…. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my daughter since the hour (?) she was born, we are at 14 months now. I remember not long after I delivered asking them, “Can I feed her now?”. It was SO important to me to nurse her. To be quite honest, I am not even sure WHY, I wasn’t, my siblings weren’t, I can’t even … Keep Reading!!!
Everyone Meet Janelle!
I always knew I would breastfeed my children. When I had my first child, at the age of twenty, I had no expectations about how breastfeeding was “supposed” to go, nor were there ever thoughts about not being able to nurse. My daughter’s birth was challenging; her latch was poor and no one offered me any help while at the hospital, despite noting on my chart
Here are some highlights of Christmas Day in our Family
I was so excited to spend Christmas with my family!
I knew the boys would be excited to see their cousins
On Christmas Eve we attended a candelight service at our home church.
Then we went and had some Philly Cheesesteaks where Samuel got into Grandma’s lipstick!
Christmas Eve night we always have a family party:
My cousin Nicole brought alligator for any brave soul willing to try it…Brian never turns down a meal:

December 17th Samuel turned FIVE!
I can’t believe it!
We had a party at my parents’ house!
My grandma came because she never misses a hot party.
My niece came because Samuel LOVES her (She’s 5’11” and looks like a supermodel, I can’t really blame him)
and all of his boy cousins showed up.
Even my cousin Whitney and her husband Bryan showed up with their adorable daughter Declyn! Whitney knitted him an adorable hat for his birthday in his … Keep Reading!!!
Confession Friday:
I have a pair of underwear from the 7th grade. I still wear them regularly. They are half camouflage, half red, with multiple holes, and all the elastic is stretched out so I need to role them. On top of that, Brian complains that I not only have them in my possession, but wear them regularly.
I just can’t seem to get rid of the darn things…I’ve even packed them for the trip I’m currently on.… Keep Reading!!!
