Have you heard of Bellabeat? It is a new smartphone app that allows mothers to listen and record their unborn baby’s heartbeat.

The app also has a fetus kick counter feature and a mood tracker for mom.

According to Bellabeat, the monthly questionnaire will help evaluate the expectant mother’s mood. If concerning patterns emerge, the app will prompt user to seek medical help.

Bellabeat will soon be adding tracking devices that will work with the app to track blood pressure, weight gain, and blood sugar.

What do you think this app? Cool? Useful? Potentially life-saving? Or do you think it is pointless and slightly fear mongering?
