Heartbreaking story out of Jingzhou, China…
A mother and her child were riding an escalator at a local shopping center when suddenly the floor completely gave out.
The mother’s instinct to save her child was so strong that you can see her react immediately to the problem.
As soon as she sensed the danger of the situation, you can see the mother pushing her baby to a nearby woman who grabbed the child. Sadly, this split second decision may have cost the mother her own life, as she used those reflexes to send her to child to safety before herself.
The victim’s family has been frustrated with how the mall has been handling the investigation of the incident. This prompted the family release the video of the accident online with a warning to the public that this is a potential danger of a seemingly harmless machine.
