How to Pack for a Girls Trip to Paris

Written by:  Jamie

When planning a girls trip to somewhere far and glamourous, Paris is always a good idea. Once in a while, you may want to leave the boys and other family members at home and escape with the girls. Paris is a beautiful and cultural city, very walkable, with great sites, and is one of the fashion capitals of the world. The city is one of the friendliest places for an epic girls’ vacation. It’s got everything – amazing sights like the river Seine, great shopping for luxury and made in France labels, incredible food, art and history, and the sparkling Eiffel tower of course.

Parisians are known for being the best dressed women in the world, of course we would want to try to dress like them while on their turf! Proper planning requires careful attention to outfit planning for any kind of surprises or events. We compiled some of the key items you may want to think about when packing for your gal trip to viva la Paris.

A chic, easy bag

The purse should be hands-free and extremely convenient while on the go. Cross body purses are the most popular options but must have sufficient space for your daily essentials and maps, should you decide not to just wander aimlessly.

Suitcase

Depending on how many days you are traveling, you may use a rigid covered suitcase with packing organizers. They optimize space by keeping everything organized and with the hard front, keeps all of your valuables inside safely.

A Killer French Made Dress

One does not go to France without buying or packing beforehand a sleek Balmain dress. Perfect to wear for a night out to a white-glove restaurant or any bars to gaze at the beautiful Parisian people. Dress and feel your inner French model come out!

RFDI Blocking Wallet

Radio Frequency Identification Devices wallet covers prevent thieves from stealing your information. RDFI credit cards are safe because payment is by touching a scanner rather than the usual swiping across or inserting it.

Good Sneakers

On a cold or rainy day in Paris, you might want to wear sneakers to stay comfy whilst walking along the many Rue’s of Paris. Make sure they are waterproof and in a neutral color that you could match with anything.

A Pair of Heels

It’s advisable to pack a pair of heels. You want to ensure they are comfortable yet still dressy.

Sunglasses

Even though it may be cloudy out, you still want to protect your eyes. Besides, nothing says “don’t bother me” than a big pair of sunglasses.

Scarf for Chilly Evenings

Scarves are fashionable, light, and easy to pack. You can simply wrap a scarf loosely over the shoulders, in case you would need to dress more modestly for a church as an example.

French to English Dictionary

Try to fit in as much as you can, the French love it when you speak their language! Or at least try to,

What Should I Wear in Paris?

The typical dress code in Paris is classy, sleek, and most of all, what makes you feel you. Pack all the essentials that make up who you are as a woman, and add a little French twist! Then, violà! You and your girls are Paris ready.
