One of the best days of a teenage girl’s life is her prom. She’s probably not looking ahead towards a wedding day just yet, so it’s only fair that she feels like a princess on prom night. And you can help her.
No doubt she may have been looking forward to prom for a long time. So you will want to make sure that this is a night she will never forget.

- Choosing the Dress
The first thing your daughter will likely think about is her dress. You’ll already know which year she is going to have her prom, so right at the beginning of that year, you should start saving up for her dress, and even shopping around early. It’s also a good idea to save up for other things that will make her feel special, such as makeup, a hair appointment, shoes and other accessories.
In the build-up to prom, make a date or two with your daughter to look at dresses. It’s the perfect excuse for a bout of Mother/Daughter bonding and trying on dresses is really fun. Take her to get her nails done and even have trial makeup sessions, and she is sure to love the pampering time spent with you.
Once you get to the dress shop, it’s important that you don’t embarrass her. Make sure you have saved up enough that she could choose a dress she loves. By all means, put her on a budget, but start saving soon and there’s no doubt you will help her feel like the princess she is with a choice of chic 2016 prom dresses at Peaches Boutique.
If you like, set the budget a little lower than what you have saved and that way if she finds a dress a little above budget, you can negotiate, and she will understand what a big deal her unique dress is. One way to find a truly unique dress is to look into Brazilian teen dresses.
Once you’ve sorted out the dress, hair, makeup, and accessories, you can help your daughter feel like a prom princess by booking special transportation for the night.
- The Transport
It’s important that your daughter feels special on prom night. She’s not going to feel any special if you drop her off yourself in your “soccer mom” car. That’s why it is a good idea to look into hiring a limo and splitting the cost with some of her friend’s parents. The limo could collect them and take them to and from their prom venue. While a limo service can be a bit expensive, it is well worth it. Many limo companies offer specials for prom.
If you’re a little worried about the expense, make sure you do speak to other parents and even your daughter’s date’s parents to see how much they are willing to chip in. Your little girl will probably enjoy sharing the limo with her friends so they can all have a great time together in between venues and it’s the perfect chance for her to show off her dress!
