not the dreamer, we are the dreamed
no separate I, only we
seamlessly blended
over time
radiation reaches from a star far away
every day we are showered by grace
we did not dream the dream
we are the dreamed
law of karma: pause and regret
not the cause, we are the effect
we did not make sunlight, but we receive it
nor did we invent water, yet we welcome it
not the artist, we are the masterpiece
want proof of miracles? look in the mirror
not the origin of life, we are each other’s moon
bouncing light amongst our orbits
not the dreamer, we are the dreamed
seamlessly blended over time
playing our part in a play
we did not write
anything can happen, and usually does
receiving life, showered by grace, giving love
the circle is completed
that’s how it goes
as someone said: there’s nothing you can do
that can’t be done, there’s nowhere you can be
that isn’t where you’re meant to be
it’s easy
we are told to dream a dream, and pursue it
but what if we are the dreamed?
according to wisdom from long ago
merrily, merrily, merrily, life is but a dream
not the creator, we are created
the blending of sun and water
mother and father
forever
not clever, we are humbled
finding our way through the maze
where angels appear at every turn
replacing uncertainty with mystery
want proof of miracles?
the humming bird, the napping cat
the billowy cloud, the water falling
the heart calling, the trumpeter swan
the dandy lion, the morning glory
the list of miracles is infinite and everlasting
no need to worry, just enjoy this place
where every moment
we are showered
by grace
