Best cities in Canada for a weekend with the girls

Written by:  Jamie

After a long, stressful work week, there’s nothing better than blowing off some steam with your besties. If you are visiting or love in Canada, there are plenty of choice venues that can be found within its best cities.

In this article, we’ll uncover some of our favourites.

1) Vancouver, BC

When it comes to 21st century sophistication, few cities in Canada can compete on Vancouver’s level. Rapidly increasing wealth here means that there are scores of expensive boutiques, trendy restaurants, and cool cocktail/wine bars to be found on streets like Robson, Davie, and West Georgia.

Of the abundant options available, Notch8 Restaurant & Bar, Minami Restaurant, and the Lux Lounge are among our favourite places to drink & dine if you are stuck on where to go. Otherwise, dive right in to the endless possibilities in the Lower Mainland.

Part of these choices are the numerous casinos in the region. From River Rock in Richmond to the Edgewater downtown, there are plenty of venues where you can glam it up at the craps table.

Absolutely clueless when it comes to gambling? Jump on http://www.canadacasino.net and find a site where you can experiment with every game of chance out there, all from the privacy of your laptop.

This way, you can stroll in with your lady friends and impress them with the confidence you exude as you correctly hit where others stand, make bold bets on the roulette table, and so forth.

2) Toronto, ON

As Canada’s biggest and most culturally diverse city, Toronto also offers seemingly infinite options to your tribe of gals when planning a fun night out.

Toronto’s service industry is uber competitive, meaning that its restaurants and nightspots need to continually push the envelope in order to stay relevant year-to-year.

Spots like Hey Lucy (trendy martini bar), Carens Wine & Cheese (top shelf product), and EFS (one of the hottest nightclubs on King Street) understand this, making easy to have a memorable night when you include these properties in your itinerary.

3) Montreal, PQ

Ladies who love culture and all things French will adore what they will find in the city of Montreal. Whether the Old Town or Ste Catherine Street is how you roll, you’ll find plenty of spots where you and your BFFs can make some memories.

In the former part of town, Jardin Nelson serves up creative drinks and inspired dishes amidst the lush greenery found in its garden patio, while Bily Kun on Mont Royal Est makes certain the sangria and the dance tunes keep going all night long.

4) Halifax, NS

The east coast might be a homely place compared to other parts of the country, but Halifax is notable exception to this rule. This rapidly growing city’s downtown is small enough to get around on foot, but is packed with plenty of amazing options for an epic girl’s night out.

From incredible vintages at Obladee Wine Bar (many of which are local) to the cozy confines of the Economy Shoe Shop, you’ll be able to find a suitable venue for your squad in one of the most drinking establishment friendly cities in Canada.
