Amazing Trampoline Benefits – Getting Your Kids Healthy While Having Fun

Written by:  Jamie

If you are considering some sort of trampoline for your family to enjoy in the yard, or for you to set up in your home gym, you should know that this is a piece of equipment that comes with a range of benefits. Trampolines are considered to be wonderful exercise for both adults and children. When you jump on one, you are able to experience a brief time of weightlessness at the height of the jump. When you get to the bottom of the mat, your body will go experience gravitational force of up to 4Gs.

Lose Weight, Stay Fit

There have been a number of studies done to show that rebounding exercise with a trampoline can be over 60% more effective than jogging. Additionally, a person weighing 150 pounds that spends about an hour on a trampoline will burn more calories than someone of the same weight just jogging for one hour. This is a metabolic supporting exercise, which means that it is crucial for weight loss and keeping it off.

Boosts The Body’s Lymphatic Flow

In your lymphatic system, there is a network of organs and tissues that work together to help your body get rid of all of the waste, toxins and any other unwanted materials. Since the lymphatic system relies on the movement of your body to act as a pump, bouncing on a trampoline as a whole body exercise can help your lymphatic valves to open up and increase lymph flow by as much as 15 times.

Improve Your Immune System

Because your lymphatic system is also a major player in your immune system, you can boost your immunity levels by enjoying regular trampoline exercise. This is your best defense against bacteria, infection, diseases and viruses. Not only are you getting rid of the toxins, but you are also increasing your red bone marrow action and working on supporting the repair of all of your tissues.

While looking for the best trampoline to use at home, you will need to take a number of things into consideration. If you are going to be the only person using the trampoline in a home gym, you can usually go with a smaller, single person trampoline. However, if you have a family with children, you can opt for a larger stand-alone piece with safety guard walls, or even look into an option that can be built into the ground for added safety. No matter what, the trampoline is an excellent piece of equipment to have around for your exercise and recreational needs.
