5 Reasons to Plan a Girls Night Out

Written by:  Jamie

When’s the last time you let your hair down and had a good time with your besties? What used to be a regular thing has likely turned into a once in the blue moon activity. As your responsibilities increase, your time is limited and your social life tends to take a back seat. Yet, every woman deserves to get out and escape her responsibilities for a while. If you’ve been putting off a night out with the girls, here are five reasons you need to go.

You Can Get Dolled Up

It’s not often you get to get dolled up. For most women (especially if you’re a mom), your wardrobe has dwindled to nothing more than a few suits and skirts for work and some sweats, yoga pants, and tee shirts during the week. Going out with the girls is an excuse to shop and really rock your style. You’ll probably need to get things like retinol serum to keep your skin youthful and glowing, cosmetics, and an outfit for the occasion.

Spend Time with The Girls

It’s been a while since you’ve seen your friends and a girls night out gives you an opportunity to catch up. It gives you a chance to talk about what’s new in your life, share memories, give advice, and even reminisce about the good old days. Friendships are imperative to your mental health and remaining close with those who have been a part of your life for years is something worth treasuring. This night out is a chance to create new memories and reconnect.

A Much Needed Stress-Relief

You work hard and you deserve to play just as hard. Time with your girlfriends gives you something to look forward to which is a real mood-booster. When you’re away from your regular responsibilities, enjoying something you like to do with people you really care about it reduces your stress levels.

Let Your Hair Down and Have Fun

The older you get the more boring and mundane life becomes. A girl’s night out can break up the monotony. You can get dressed up and go out and have a blast doing things you enjoy, but don’t often get to do. Whether you go to a bar, go see a concert, go out to eat, go dancing, to the movies, shopping, or to a spa, there’s a lot of fun to be had with the girls. If you really plan on getting wild and crazy though, you might want to take supplements for hangover prevention before you go so you can function the next day.

You Deserve It

Here’s a good reason to plan your next girl’s night out – you simply deserve it. Life is short. Though life and responsibilities come first, it’s also good to stop and enjoy the present. Your friendships are important to your health and your life, so don’t neglect the opportunity to spend time with those you love.

In this fast-paced world, it can be easy to get wrapped up in the daily grind. Though a girl’s gotta do what a girl gotta do, sometimes, you just need a break. Reward yourself for all the hard work you put in every day by spending time with the girls. No matter where you go or what you do, as long as you’ve got your friends – it’s worth it.
