
Forget about the stereotype of the teen with their head buried in the cell phone just to socialize. This generation is motivated and determined to find their way in this crazy world.
And, they have to be creative to make things work. In other words, they need to start looking to work very young and find their own way.

1 – Become a model
It may not be the first thought you have when considering jobs you can do as a teen. Yet, it may prove to be a career in the making.
If you’ve always been praised for your looks and poise, then it may make sense to pursue this. Teenagers can find modelling work much easier than anybody else as long as you have what it takes.
If you are also very fashion forward then you may already be on your way.
2 – Car detailer
Cleaning cars is one thing. Detailing cars is another.
If you have a good work ethic, can hustle for clients and a keen attention to detail, then you could do very well detailing cars. You can clear a few hundred dollars per day once you have a steady stream of clients.
And it needn’t be just a summer thing for extra money. This could be a big first step at being a young entrepreneur that is able to build a legitimate business.
One step at a time and before you know it you have employees and focus your attention on growing a business.
3 – Programmer
Anybody can be a programmer these days with all the online courses and tutorials available. A teen has a distinct advantage though as if you start early enough, you can build a solid portfolio by the time you are done with high school.
And the biggest advantage is that this portfolio is stocked with current and relevant coding languages. This gives an edge to the teen over somebody who has a CV filled with obsolete languages that nobody uses anymore.
There will never be a time when programmers are not in demand. It has the potential to be a lifelong career.
4 – Golf caddy
Many teens that are good at golf do this as summer gig. It pays decently and is not hard to do if you have enough knowledge about golf.
The best part is that it can open the door to being a golf pro one day. If you set out on that journey early on, then there are plenty of pros who will take you under their wing and set you up for a future in the golf game.
