3 Treatments for Gorgeous Body Contouring and Curvature

Written by:  Rex

Cosmetic treatments are for a lot more than mere facial enhancements or lip fillers. There are also plenty of body contouring and curvature enhancing treatments for those looking to add a little volume in all the right places. You’ll find tons of procedures that can accomplish this, three of which are particularly popular right now all across the country.

While we all know about liposuction, with a little bit of research you’ll find that there is also a large variety of minimally and non invasive treatments to eliminate fat that won’t require you to go under the knife. One of the most popular non surgical alternative to liposuction is CoolSculpting. We spoke with Dr. Schwarzburg to learn more about the treatment and how it works.

  1. Coolsculpting

What’s there to say about CoolSculpting that hasn’t already been said? Should we start from how it’s an entirely non-invasive procedure, without requiring a single cut or injection? Or maybe we should focus on how it lets your body’s own natural processes break down the fat in any given area, without injecting any compounds?

This all sounds a little hard to believe, but then you actually learn about the science and methodology behind it and understand how CoolSculpting works. First let’s start with apoptosis, a process that all damaged cells go through which is naturally encoded into all of them. Apoptosis can be activated in a variety of ways and freezing the cells just so happens to be one of them. Once activated, the cell goes through different forms, as it shrivels down in size, getting absorbed by the body at the end of the process.

By exposing the fat cells to cold temperatures long enough, we can stimulate them into going into apoptosis and breaking down on their own, later to be flushed out by the body. One by one these fat cells disappear and the layer of fat they had congregated into gets smaller and smaller.

Fat freezing can be performed on a variety of areas, from the stomach and waist to lesser-known fat layers, like on the back and arms. Because of its non-invasive nature, fat freezing results in very few side effects which go away rather quickly following the procedure. Several sessions of CoolSculpting will be required and the final results will take four to six months to become visible.

But through the determination that you have to lose the excess fat in your body, these months will go by very fast and before you know it, your body will have shed off those extra fat layers, looking contoured and sculpted.

  1. Cooltone

While Coolsculpting focuses on thinning out the pockets of fat, Cooltone mostly deals with the muscles. Getting rid of fat isn’t enough to get that perfect physique you’ve always dreamed of. Having less fat in your body sure helps, but you need to remember that muscles also play a major role in how your body’s sculpted and contoured appearance.

When we talk about toning, we’re referring to how visible or “chiseled” your muscles look. It’s when they look defined, almost like they’re made of solid material even when you’re not flexing them. In gyms, they’d call them “ripped”.

You naturally achieve toned muscles through specialized exercising and spending countless hours at the gym. But if you don’t have the time or energy to do this, there’s Cooltone. Utilizing special technology called MMS (Magnetic Muscle Stimulation), the Cooltone equipment causes the muscles to contract at super-high speeds and in ways that traditional exercising wouldn’t allow for. The MMS exercises your body, but you don’t actually have to do them yourself.

After a couple of sessions, you’ll notice how your muscles are becoming more and more visible and you can feel them getting stronger too. Once the treatment is finished and enough time passes, you’ll find your muscles perfectly toned and defined. Pair this with Coolsculpting for the best, most attractive results.

  1. BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift)

The Brazilian butt lift (BBL for short) is one of the best ways to enhance your body’s curves. Nowadays, curvier bodies are very much in fashion. To be fair: body curvature has been a very important part of beauty for centuries.

Unfortunately, not everyone is born curvy. Our bodies are all different and while some individuals have that beautiful natural curvature around their hips and buttocks, many of us simply don’t. This doesn’t mean we have no way out of this. That’s why body enhancing treatments like the BBL exist.

You’ll find other kinds of butt enlargement or enhancement procedures out there, but the BBL is truly special. A very important factor in cosmetic treatments is safety. If you inject a compound into your body that’s entirely alien to it, your body’s not going to react all that peacefully. It’s going to fight back, as it doesn’t recognize the compound that was just injected.

This is why so many cosmetic treatments rely on the injectables being derived from the body’s own naturally-produced chemicals. The BBL takes this idea to a whole new level. Instead of injecting some kind of compound to make the butt look fuller, the BBL reuses the excess fat which is extracted from other parts of the body.

Essentially, this accomplishes two tasks with one treatment. Not only are you getting rid of excess fat in other areas of the body, but you’re reusing it in the buttocks, where it can be a lot more appreciated. Adding to that: since the fat that’s injected back into the butt comes from your own body, this significantly lowers the chance of any allergic reactions or side-effects.

Obviously, the actual treatment is far more complex than the way we’ve described it here, but this is essentially the gist of it. The results are a beautifully round posterior, that looks natural, much fuller than it was before, and in all the right places.
