Today we took the boys to Abalone Cove to view their tidepools (best ever!) We soon learned this area is also an unofficial nude beach. It was a bit cold, so we didn’t stumble across any lawbreakers. However, there was a woman breastfeeding her baby under this sign. I didn’t want to bother her for a photo, even though it would have been an awesome shot.

Our hope is that people will get a chance to see a family that may look a little different, but is as close and loving as a family that meets the stereotypical ideal. My daughter is 19 months old and I’m still breastfeeding her. I should probably learn the art of using a cover when I’m out, but haven’t gotten any flack yet thank God!
I love the tide pools. We don’t live too far from there and it was our first adventure day with some new friends. The kids loved it too!
