When police officers in Columbia got a call about a baby left in the woods Luisa Fernanda Urrea was one of the officers dispatched to the scene. They found a newborn girl crying in the undergrowth, with part of her umbilical cord still attached. The baby was hungry and at risk of hypothermia so Urrea, being a new mom herself, quickly swaddled and began nursing her.
Luisa Fernanda Urrea is being credited with saving this beautiful little girl’s life.
At Guangming Hospital in Shenzhen, China a 1-month-old baby boy was undergoing surgery to remove an abscess; a surgery that required only a local anesthetic, leaving the baby awake. The little boy was so panicked that he would not calm enough for the surgery to begin. The surgical team was about to cancel the surgery until one nurse stepped in.

Yesterday I jumped out of the pool and was standing soaking wet.
