We live in an era where how you look is everything, especially in Hollywood. The pressure for a new mom to “bounce back” immediately after birth is ridiculous. Haylie Duff was not immune to feeling the pressure but came out this week to say that working on her body wasn’t near as important as breastfeeding her daughter.
Haylie gave birth to her daughter, Ryan Eva, 9-months-ago and says she still doesn’t feel like she “looks amazing”. But rather than allow … Keep Reading!!!
A few days ago we posted the Joey Salads video where he had a woman pretend to breastfeed in public, to see what the reactions would be. Joey has taken it a step further this time. A model in a low cut shirt sits right next to a breastfeeding mom. The people who stop to comment on the mom’s “indecency” are not expecting the confrontations that follow.
Here’s hoping this direct comparison opens some eyes and people can … Keep Reading!!!

The internet is full of cute pictures of kids copying the world around them. It’s how they learn. So many of those are kids feeding dolls or siblings. None of these seem to cause issue, until a young boy pretends to breastfeeding his baby sibling.
Breastfeeding Mama Talk posted an adorable photo that a mom had shared with them and the internet erupted in a firestorm of misplaced hatred and disgust.

Because no one knew how this would turn out; Joey Salads, best known for his “social experiment” and prank videos on Youtube, tackled public breastfeeding reactions in his newest video. Perhaps the results surprised him, but for most moms who’ve nursed in public it’s exactly what we expected. It just serves as another example of what nursing moms have to endure in public; the attempts to shame women for feeding their children.
Unfortunately, only a few comments … Keep Reading!!!
State Rep. Amanda Bouldin (D) took to Facebook to express her opposition to a proposed bill in New Hampshire that would make it a misdemeanor for a woman to expose her nipples. Bouldin strongly recommends the bill be completely scrapped, or at the very least an exemption for breastfeeding mothers be added.
The very least you could do is protect a mother’s right to FEED her child.
While Bouldin later corrected herself and admitted the bill does contain an exemption … Keep Reading!!!

Breastfeeding is a wonderful journey: creating a deep bond, providing security and comfort to your child and giving them the best nutritional start at life you can. However, if you’re nursing you’re probably going to encounter a clogged duct or two along the way. There’s all sorts of advice on how to clear them but it takes time and it can be so painful while you wait.
When Ashley Kaidel‘s son got hungry, while they were at a restaurant, she did what mother’s do – she fed him. Of course, because she did so with your breasts people start staring. Rather than feel shamed she decided to stare right back. This is when her dining partner took a photo of her, a photo which she posted to Facebook along with a post about normalizing breastfeeding. The statement she made, both within her writing and her photo … Keep Reading!!!
When Rachel Lim’s husband brought a microscope home from work, she decided to have some fun. She wanted to know what her breast milk looked like up close and what she saw is fascinating. The particles can be seen “moving and quivering”, as if they are alive. Of course, it’s not news that breast milk is alive; it’s full of bacterial cells, white blood cells and and stem cells. Scientists determined this long ago. To see it in action is … Keep Reading!!!
