Spread the Good with Buddy Fruits (A Giveaway)

Spread the Good with Buddy Fruits (A Giveaway)

Buddy Fruits contacted me about joining their new campaign called “Spread the Good” which has the goal of reminding people that there is good in the world, and a little bit of kindness goes a long way.

If you haven’t heard of the company before- Buddy Fruits started when a French family on a US road trip discovered there was no healthy snack options available along the way. (Oh, how we can relate. )

They stayed in the US to promote healthy food choices, and they were the first company to introduce the squeezable pouch to the US.

Their products contain 100% fruit flesh. I am crossing my fingers that one day they we can add organic to that sentence,  but for now they are doing some really great things. You will never find preservatives, colorings, genetic modifications, artificial flavorings, water, or corn syrup in their products.

Anyway, back to “Spread the Good”. Buddy Fruits has partnered with Feed the Children and they will be donating approximately 800,000 of their fruit pouches to families affected by hunger.

Additionally Buddy Fruits is giving away this awesome bundle with items from companies that work to provide aid to people around the world.

The winner will win two of these bundles- One for you and one for you to give to a friend.

Paying it forward is a year-long idea or commitment. Involve yourself with those around you and remind yourself and the simple acts of kindness (even what you think will go unnoticed) can have a dramatic impact on people around you, so don’t hesitate to put in the extra effort.

We also want to take this idea a step further an ask you all to mention the good you see on a daily basis! Use social media to promote the good that is around you.

Have fun!

It says the contest hasn’t started yet. I reread the post and couldn’t find a ‘start date’. Could you let me know when I should come back to enter?

I work in child welfare and it’s easy to think our jobs are “enough” do-gooding. So we are starting to ease into (optional) service projects, starting with a toiletry drive for a local charity that runs multiple shelters.

I am currently 8 months pregnant and a few days ago I went out to lunch with my 2 year old. My arms were full and there was a large staircase to leave the restaurant. My daughter wanted someone to hold her hand as she ventured the staircase and one of the waitresses took the time to walk her down the stairs. It was so nice to have one less thing to worry about as we left :)

One act of kindness that I have recently witnessed is a man stopping in the road, in the rain, to rescue a cat.

I see my co-workers treat each other with so much kindness every day. From running out to pick someone up who’s car has broken down to helping out with rent when someone’s short. My co-workers are like a family.

My husband recently went to the movies and overheard a young boy ask his parents if he could get a soda AND popcorn, to which they replied that they only had money for one. When my husband got to the front, he paid for the concessions for the family behind him. When they got to the cashier and were told that someone had paid for their popcorn and soda, the boy’s eyes lit up.

Being pregnant – a lot of people are quick to open a door for me or offer me their seat. It’s appreciated!
