Aly Brothers is a single mother of two beautiful boys.
Aly is also like most parents and became completely overwhelmed by her childrens’ unexpected (but totally normal), defiant behavior at the grocery store the other day.
However, unlike the majority of us who just try to get over it quietly and privately, Aly decided to share this real moment with others.
Her caption on Facebook expressed the difficulties she sometimes faces while raising two children:

Leave it to the internet to try to shit on something positive.
You may have heard that Alicia Keys announced that she was completely over makeup back in May, but I don’t think anyone realized how serious she was until she followed through with a completely bare face at the VMAs.
Check her out-
And that isn’t even “no makeup, makeup” – she’s got a totally bare face.
Oh Alicia, I wouldn’t wear makeup if I were you either.… Keep Reading!!!

The importance of sensory play was first introduced to me when one of my children was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). In fact, SPD is so common that I’m sure I have it, and there is a good chance you or someone you know does too However, today we’re talking about sensory play which benefits everyone, not just those with SPD.
Sensory play is a crucial part of development for small children but is often overlooked. That is why … Keep Reading!!!
Hey everyone! Sorry for these sporadic updates. I’ll get more consistent, I promise.
I have been so busy that I haven’t had a lot of time to spend at the computer and when I finally sit down to write something, I’ve been overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin.
But… I’ll try right now.
Also, excuse the typos or grammatical errors here…. I’ll never get this out if I don’t just write it and send it off immediately!

Just as the normal world out there have its dangers and we can predict them and warn kids what to do in case of ‘this and that’. So it has to be with them online. The world now has turned in to what people say a global village. It was not like 10. 20 or 30 years ago where you need to carry your books in your hand. Or go to the library in search of books. When we have children we become the masters of life. Of course, we aren’t, we are usually just feeling our way, making plenty of mistakes behind the scenes and feeling a little bit lost. On our birthdays, we are meant to be a mixture of happy at the attention with a tinge of misery over our ageing. A wedding is a joyous occasion, in the lead up to which the bride is expected to turn into a control freak.
By far the most expectation-heavy time of our lives, however, is when … Keep Reading!!!

You may rather sing Gangnam Style in public than have complete strangers gawp at your table as your four-year-old daughter decides that spaghetti’s more enjoyable to play with than eat, or try to ignore the screams as your son decides to throw an epic tantrum because you’ve said no to extra ice cream. However, children need to learn how to behave appropriately in public as well as at home unless you never want to visit anywhere … Keep Reading!!!
As we move into the early months of a new year, many of us are waiting hopefully for the first sign of some warmer weather. What a lot of people forget is that even though we traditionally think of January, February and March as Springtime, it actually isn’t according to the meteorological calendar. The season of spring only really begins on the 1st of March, meaning we can’t expect the weather to really heat up until much later in the … Keep Reading!!!
Summer is here, and it’s time to grill, and as everyone knows, hamburgers rule the dinner hour when they are cooked correctly. Here are a few tips on how to make your burgers the best around.
It’s All About the Meat
The perfect burger starts with the perfect meat. Some burger connoisseurs suggest grinding your own meat, allowing you to mix different cuts and different animal proteins to create the perfect mix of flavors and fat content. For those that … Keep Reading!!!
Fergie recently released her much-anticipated new video featuring several celebrity moms. The hit song and video have gone viral, but the tongue-and-cheek visuals have enraged many people on the internet (surprise, surprise).
When I first heard the song and saw the video it was clear to me that it was created to be intentionally ridiculous, to the point where I found it to be obviously poking fun at a derogatory word/acronym. This was even more apparent when Fergie released a … Keep Reading!!!
