Healthy eating can make you feel great, but it’s not always easy to find the time to do it. When you’re searching for recipes, a lot of the ones you like could take an hour or more to make. That’s too long when you’ve worked a full day, you’re really hungry, and you have things to do later in the evening. Luckily, there has been a move toward quicker recipes that you can cook in a … Keep Reading!!!
Would you really think that a portable high chair could pose any risk to your lovely baby? Most parents believe that once they have placed their babies on the portable high chair, then they are 100% safe. This is just the ideal case, but in reality, the injuries that kids sustain when using high chairs have been on a steady rise. The number of children being sent for treatment due to high chair injuries across the globe is alarming.… Keep Reading!!!

When your childless friends try to tell you how they’ll parent differently…
When you tell your kids to pick a different flavor than the crazy ice-cream with a million artificial colors in it… which displeases them…

Well here’s a cool idea…
Turn your child’s writing or drawing into wearable pieces of art. There are some larger companies that do this, but the quality and material used seems to be a bit lower-end than some of the smaller shops that offer this service on Etsy.
(I want to get this done before my own boys get too big to think this is cool.)
Here are some of my favorites:

Okay sorry to bombard you guys with SO much breastfeeding news, but this is a fun one.
Chrissy Teigan has been really open about the fact that she and husband John Legend have struggled with infertility for quite awhile. The couple, who conceived via IVF treatments, welcomed a baby girl, Luna Simone, on April 14th.

They removed her knee and then reattached her foot backwards in order to give her the best chance of walking comfortably in a prosthetic.

I am going to get in the habit of these weekly wrap-ups because…
a. every blogger and their mother seems to do it.
b. I’m clearly a conformist.
So here are the weird things I read this week when I wasn’t sitting at Starbucks making frantic calls to people about funding for the water project in Ethiopia.
First up is very timely and slightly prophetic, since it deals with Starbucks AND water…frozen water to be exact.
Someone just filed a … Keep Reading!!!
Kid president is at it again with his adorable charm and wise words. He recently created a short for Mother’s Day about supporting mothers. He pointed out that in our society it’s common and somewhat accepted for mothers to shame their peers based on their parenting choices.
In his segment Kid president dons a ridiculous wig and reveals the character of a judgmental mother.

As you can see, I took off all of the third party ads on this site. I feel like I can breathe again… but more importantly, I feel like I want to write on here. I hope you guys feel equally less annoyed when you come this page.

With Disney-esque magic they teach how to avoid feeling sorry for yourself during your period (not going to happen), bathing as an acceptable practice during your period (which was slightly horrifying to hear that not bathing was a rumor being spread during that … Keep Reading!!!
Homework is an important part of the learning process. In truth, most students will tell you how difficult it has been to get the assignments done and some even ask, “Who can do my homework for me?” Most ignore it and tend to focus on something more fun, but in school, there is no way to avoid being homework so we better face it.
As a student progresses to higher levels in school, they can expect an increase in homework. … Keep Reading!!!
