Who is the strong silent man behind the blog?
No one seems to know. He does need to keep a bit of mystery on here, but we will let you in on a little more of his personality.
Brian and I met the month I turned sixteen. He was almost twenty-one at the time. He wanted nothing to do with me because I was so young. Needless to say, I was fuming by this rejection. I didn’t hear from him for two years… until the week before I turned eighteen, when I received a convenient phone call. He’s clever like that.

Yay for Brian! The picture of the two of you in Carmel reminds me of your mom and dad.
Thanks Whit! And Yay for Brian!
He sounds like a keeper.
I think I’ll keep him around for awhile
When I come to L.A. I shall be bringing with me Q-Tips for the purposes of swabbing Brian’s saliva. Said swab shall be placed in a microcentrifuge tube (yes, I watch The Big Bang Theory. What?) and shipped to Sweden where scientists shall clone Brian so that I can be as blessed as you with such a decent (and f*ckhawt) man.
All jokes aside, you are SO deserving of the love and happiness this man brings you (and your children). I am excited to see what the future brings you both as you hold hands tightly while life brings forth new challenges to overcome, barriers to break and blessings to provide to those in need.
xoxo

Aww. You guys are so sweet together! Me and my husband met when we were 15 going on 16, married and had our son at 18. Both of us had our true love story! ^_^ oh and lol my husband is also a big MMA fan as well as collecting firearms, I swear if there was such a thing as a ZApoc we’d be just fine lmao!
Oh I love that.
And FYI we have a detailed Zapoc plan….I am not kidding.
Glad to see such integrity and humble strength in Brian.
I look forward to his blog: itoldyousheisnothebabysitter.com !

“I was ready to be a father, but I had no idea it was going to be this much fun.”
That just made me laugh so loud! Jamie you should snatch up that domain name.
16. The year of the mighty Firebird!
Ohh the firebird! …I may pee my pants I’m laughing so hard right now. Memories!
You sure he’s only 220lbs? If he’s 6’5″ I’d say he’s a bit bigger than 220lbs! But maybe he has little chicken legs or something. LOL
LMAO Brent! He said 220, when I interviewed him last night. Come to find out he hasn’t weighed himself since his last doctors appt 2 years ago (way before he picked up on body building) – I am guessing 235.
“Collecting Firearms”?!? Ok, I thought your family had already maxed out on cool points like three months ago. Maybe you can write a followup post “The Munitions Stylings of my Husband” to perhaps enlighten us on his preferred “peices” of this hobby? Always nice to find a fellow enthusiast
…especially in the attachment parenting circle!
Cheers.

HAH! Mandy! That is awesome you like guns, too! My husband has some cool ones. If you’re in California we should all go shooting together. I know, there are few gun enthusiasts in attachment parenting! That is crazy, you may be the only other one aside from us!
Hey, we’re APers and gun enthusiasts! We live in Oregon though so kinda far from you
First as I was reading that, I said oh damn. 6’5-220. Then it hit me that the biggest giants are the softest parents. I admire the fact that he works and wants to be a great husband and father. I think that as men we need to keep our eyes on the prize and thats not being the coolest, the strongest, have the most toys, but be a good husband and father. Be the kind of man that takes care of his family with love. Im glad I read this and you two are a cute couple and the kids are adorable. Keep working for what you believe in and know that I am in your corner. Plus no way on Gods green Earth that im standing in an opposite corner from that 6’5-220 man. lol
Shhh. We don’t want everyone knowing that Brian’s as hot as you. HEY LADIES! HE’S STINKY. BACK AWAY SLOWLY.
Yup that’s my son in law! He IS that great and he can cook too!!! And one day, Brian, I WILL beat you in our Word game! Love you ! Gigi
