Ginger Gigi Cocktail

This drink recipe was discovered at the Grange in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Light and refreshing! The perfect cocktail to sip in these warm summer months.

  •  Mint (muddled or slapped)
  •   1 ¼ oz Tanqueray
  •  ¼ oz Lime Juice
  •  ¼ oz ginger simple syrup (this can be done by allowed a few pieces of fresh ginger to sit and infuse in some simple syrup for 1+ hours)
  • Shake – rocks glass
  • Top with Ginger Beer
  • Garnish with a piece of candied ginger

Enjoy!

  1. Funny, I was drinking a cocktail made with ginger and him (and watermelon juice and limes) at sunset today too. Cosmic twins I tell ya! I took pictures to blog it, too :)

  2. Funny, people refer to ingesting ginger as a way to feel warmer too. That’s the funny thing with vasodilators — menthol’s another example — they can the affected area feel either hot or cold.
